This was meant to be a wordy piece centered around the idea of a mermaid trapped in a wishing well, curious about the wishers who toss their coins into the water on faith. I wanted to incorporate a lot of wordplay and quotes, as well was bubbles of filler words, like phrases tossed into the well along with the coins.
